The Attorney

Annie is licensed to practice law in Hawai’i and Utah and has been practicing law for over a decade. She runs her private practice in Salt Lake City where she lives with her partner and two teenage boys.

Before law school, Annie worked in environmental and urban planning, assisting developers with environmental requirements, land use and zoning issues, and community engagement. Her article, Determining the Expiration Date of an Environmental Impact Statement: When to Supplement a Stale EIS in Hawai‘i, was published in the University of Hawai‘i Law Journal in 2013.

Annie attended law school in Hawai‘i where she graduated cum laude. She has worked for a number of justices at the Hawai‘i Supreme Court and a number of judges at the United States federal court in Hawai‘i. Annie has also worked at a top law firm in Hawai‘i (nka Dentons) practicing transactional law, assisting business clients with drafting agreements, purchasing commercial property, drafting and reviewing leases, working on AOAO governing documents, and other business-related matters.

After moving to Utah, Annie built a secondary specialty in family law at McConkie Hales & Jones before leaving to start her own firm. Her own personal experience with divorce and child custody inspired her to help others navigate through this challenging time. Annie provide compassionate yet practical counsel to her clients and endeavors to be a zealous advocate for her clients’ interests. She also excels in legal research and writing, and is knowledgeable in substantive areas of business, real estate, land use, and federal law.
